My Favorite Quotations

I have always had a special affinity for quotations. As a matter of fact, if you look in the left sidebar of my blog, you will notice that I even display an RSS feed that shows a daily “Quote of the Day” – that’s how much I love a good quotation!

A truly wonderful quotation can me think further about a subject, ponder a great question of the universe, help me feel a strong emotion, or perhaps will just cause my heart to sing. And, if you have ever read any of my blog entries, you will notice that I always place a “Quote of the Day” at the end of each one, and the quote will usually match up to the topic of the blog entry. And since this is one of my trademarks, so to speak, I thought it only appropriate that I include a special page which includes a list of my favorite quotations. I will, of course, continue to add to this list as time goes on, because I am always discovering new quotations. Perhaps you’ll find a favorite or two of your own among them. At any rate, I hope that you enjoy them. And I’d love to know which ones are your favorites!

Cheers,

  • That’s a great list! Of the ones you have here, my favorite is the one by Walt Disney (“If you can dream it, you can do it”).
I don’t know if you already have this one somewhere, but my favorite is this one by Margaret Mead…

“Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For, indeed, that’s all who ever have.”

Here’s another of my favorites: “A room without books is like a body without a soul”- Cicero
