What’s Your Sign?
We pledged solemn vows,
With promises of fidelity, devotion, and love.
But now those words ring hollow.
I feel as though the world has stopped turning.
And it causes me to wonder . . .
Do you still love me?
Please, give me a sign.
I don’t know what the prompt is, but I like the piece.

Honestly, I have been in this situation. You want to know, but are so afraid to just ask for fear of the death knell on the relationship which was inevitable anyways. Brilliant take!
